Fun Putting Game at Home

The other club pros and I used to enjoy playing this game on rainy days at the Golf Shop at the country club. You have to make all eight putts in a row, first to the larger hole, then to the smaller hole. Miss one putt and you have to start all over. I won some decent cash playing this game.

And yes, I realize I need a new putter adjusted to about 2 degrees flat because of the putting changes that I made this past season to my set-up. Now I’m seeing the line better and making more consistent strokes.

Try this simple drill at home and you’ll be making more putts on the course before you know it. Games against others and even by yourself put some pressure on when you practice and that’s important in order to carry your practice skills out onto the course.

See your local PGA professional for more putting tips or contact me for in-person or Zoom lessons.
